This may be the most effective way to remove hair from delicate areas such as noses, ears and eyebrows. Tweezer not only increase your plucking accuracy, but reduce the chances of creating ingrown hairs.

  4. Burning off with hot wax can damage the cells and prevent hair from ever growing in the unwanted spot again
  5. Use of Turmeric along with other ingredients like besan powder and milk
  6. Epilators are with mechanical devices that rapidly grasp hairs and pull them out

Laser Hair Removal Using Photoepilation

Permanent Methods include:

Electroepilation

  1. Electrolysis: Electrolysis uses a sterilized needle which is inserted into each hair follicle. A small electrical current is then delivered to the base of the follicle to destroy the hair growth cells.
  2. Thermolysis: The process creates heat which will then destroy the follicle. This stops the growth of hair.
  3. Photoepilation Laser hair removal
Intense pulsed light: A focused, broad-spectrum light is applied to the surface of the skin by way of either a hand-held wand or an articulated arm. This light travels through the skin until it strikes the hair shafts or the bulb (root) of the hair. The bulb is usually where the highest concentration of melanin is located. As the light is converted to heat energy, the bulb and most of the hair shaft are instantly vaporized. The intense heat radiated by the hair also destroys the hair-producing papilla or the entire hair follicle.
Diode epilation: The diode laser has a longer wavelength than the Alexandrite and Ruby lasers. (Ruby laser is a red-colored beam of light used to strike the dark melanin. Hence, diode is able to penetrate deeper into the skin, allowing treatment on dark-skinned people, unlike the other two lasers.
